About

Tocco Italiano

Our idea starts from an Italian vision of sharing authentic Italian cuisine and experiences – we want every visit to Tocco Italiano to be like you are escaping to Italy.

We have created an extraordinary place where one detail is as important as all others. Respect for Italian and Australian ingredients is at the heart of our approach. We aim to share with you the traditions of Southern Italian cuisine blended with creativity and simplicity.

In the end, a great meal is not only the food and wine….. it’s an emotional experience. Our team care about Tocco as they do about their home, caring for you as if you were part of the family exploring cuisine that starts from the traditional but blends the new world.

We want your visit to Tocco Italiano to be a journey that returns you to sources of pleasure that you may have forgotten and places you haven’t been before.

Tocco Italiano Teneriffe is located just outside Brisbane City. It’s a modern industrial style restaurant that evokes elegance with rustic elements of polished concrete, warm wood, copper back dropped bar and European furniture.  Tocco Teneriffe has an open kitchen and domed wood fired oven so you can watch the action from our bar and dining areas. We offer Italian cuisine for lunch and dinner and a bar area for aperitif and dreaming of Italy.

Tocco Italiano Chelmer is located in a leafy suburb about 7km from Brisbane City. It’s a relaxed dining outpost in a commercial heritage space with inside and outside seating which allows us to be bike and dog friendly. We offer a broad range of breakfast and lunch blending Italian and Australian fare before transforming into a busy Italian restaurant at 5.30pm where it’s like you have escaped to Italy.

Experience

Tocco Italiano is the creation of Arturo Buonocore – a 4th generation restaurateur whose family has owned restaurants on the Amalfi Coast since 1935 and whose home is in the clifftop village of Ravello. Arturo arrived in Brisbane after following his heart and wanted to share his passion and love for everything Italian with Brisbane…. Tocco Italiano was born.
